The Allman Brothers Band Concert「Fillmore East Feb 11, 1970」
前の記事の流れで「The Allman Brothers Band」をチョイス。
デレク＆ザ・ドミノスに参加する少し前の同年のライブがあったので。
こちらもツインリードギターだけど、ブルース色よりはサザンロック色が強く、1曲目のインストナンバー「In Memory of Elizabeth Reed」から飛ばしまくる。
2曲目「Statesboro Blies」からはスライドギター全開。
純粋なアメリカン・ブルース・ロックが堪能できる。
ラストの「Mountain Jam」は、演奏力とか、迫力とかよりも「楽しそうなJAM」って感じが伝わってきて、リラックスして聞ける。
あぁ、こんな風にジャムりたいなぁ。
彼らの有名なアルバムに「The Allman Brothers at Fillmore East」っていう伝説のライブアルバムがあるが、それはデレク＆ドミノス参加より後らしいので、この音源はそれよりも少し前のものみたい。
